Keys to the Game
1. Come out with intensity, they've won 5 of their last 7 games and are at home. Jefferson has been beasting lately.
2. Play defense, don't give them easy buckets, and don't let McCants get hot from the perimeter.
3. Just execute, establish Yao the offense.
Lastly.......
GO ROCKETS!

If there was any game in which our terribly inconsistent play could jump up and bite us its this one. Matter of fact if we play like we did against Indy and the Bucks we'll lose. And yes I know how bad the Wolves are. But they play well at home and they are have a little streak going.

Trap game for sure. End of a road trip, been getting by on lethargic performances, running into an opponent who is not very good but plays hard and have been playing decently lately.
Obviously we can't afford to lose this. I think we'll find a way to slip by, as we usually do.

dont matter who we play, we can still lose. dunno how many teams can say that, but we can

. but we should be able to win.

This is a game where we need to start Chuck, so he can guard Al.

I have a feeling that Yao will be on Al, otherwise Gomez will be a threat.

The main reason MIN has been doing so well is because Al Jefferson has been playing out of his mind. Luckily we have good post defense so in that respect we match up well.

mannn this game is SOO scary. they've won the last two games by a combined 37 points. they won @ GS and vs. phoenix not long ago, not to mention a 1-point thriller (resulted in a fluke loss) against the C's. i got a BADDDDD feeling. i hope someone tells mac and yao that this is NOT, absolutely is NOTTT, a 10-36 team.

Was checking the rest of the games and found Blazers will be playing Nuggets. Rockets must win
The win will close the gap to either blazers or nuggets

should be another easy win for us, but at the same time the wolves have played good lately with the super play of jefferson.

The way I see it, we won't often blow out the sides we should beat easily.
We also will compete with the top sides and win a share of them.
Minnesota is a game we should frankly win - they are starting to play better, but we are the better side.
Go Rockets!

I think its a win... Rockets know the last couple of games were near let downs. The Wolves are pretty small, and Yao could have a field-day. Hope T-Mac plays of the bench again... he'd be such a great Manu Ginobili!

If we win (28-20 and I hope we win) with Minnesotta and Blazers lose we are 9th in the West

The Houston Rockets have a chance to extend their road winning streak to eight games for the first time in over 11 years Monday night, but they will have to get past the suddenly surging Timberwolves as the teams continue their season series.
Houston has won seven straight on the road since a 97-93 loss to league-best Boston on Jan. 2, holding opponents to 91.7 points per game during its run. A win over Minnesota (10-36) on Monday would give the Rockets eight straight victories on the road for the first time since winning their first eight road games of 1996-97.
