Yao will turn it around.
granted hes been poor in the last three games, but i think he is getting burned out a tad too much. he just cant play too many minutes. it's a chore just carry that lumbering humongus 320 pounds of he's. i think he's minutes need to go down from here on. hence more energy.

Yao still shot 6-11 (>50% and better than tmac today) and only had 2 turnovers (7 for Tmac). Im not saying Yao was superior but he wasnt hurting us while he was out there . In general the rockets shot a decent clip so there wasnt a glaring need to get it to the paint repeatedly. Yao needs to get some boards though!

This does not take into consideration that Yao got horribly abused Boozer-style by Al Jefferson today.

what's wrong with yao on this road trip? 3 bad games in a row. was he too tired after the gsw game or there's something else? the last time he got outplayed so badly by the opposing center that i can remember was probably in his rookie season by shaq.
and was it just me or the offense has actually regressed since mcgrady's back to the starting 5? yao at the low block, yao and mcgrady pick-and-roll. ok, but what else? this is no different from the van gundy ball in the last few years.
in short, this team right now gets me worried. even though we won all 3 road games, against an o'neal-less pacers, a redd-less bucks, and a bottom-feeder wolves, you'd expect them to at least blow things open twice.
we don't stand a good chance to win against stronger teams (and there are plenty out there). and the mcgrady-and-yao-rarely-work-well-together syndrome continues...

Yao plays better at home while Tmac plays better away. So that is part of the reasons we seldom see them perform well at the same game. Just check their stats home vs away will tell a good story.
Yao's scoring 24.4pts and grabbing 12.3 rbs at home while 20.3pts and 10.0 rb away.
Tmac's scoring 16.9pts, 5.3 rb, 5.3 ast at home and 25.8, 4.7 rb, 5.0 ast away.

i wonder if Yao is eating right. Mcdonalds is not something professional athletes should be eating considering it has negative nutritional value.
i wonder if he only ate organic foods, took vitamins and antioxidant supplements, would it benefit him on the court? i think so.
for a guy his size, his heart likely works harder than anyone else on this planet since there arent an other 7'6 dudes playing pro ball. Not to mention all that traveling.
Also, is he getting enough sleep? apparently he's a video gaming addict.
Yao. no more french fries. no more mcdonalds. no more mass produced american garbage food. No more late night warcraft sessions. thx

Yao I think has hit the wall. He needs some rest. I honestly don't think he'll play much during the allstar game. He'll start the 1st and 3rd..but this is gonna be a run and gun affair for both sides.
Yao has played so many games this season and a lot of em he had to carry the team b/c Mac wasn't there. He looks tired especially going up against guys like Bogut and Jefferson who attacked him and Foster who was all over him. A couple days off will do him good...he should bounce back against Cleveland.

What's going on? Yao just admitted he had a sh*t game:
"I think that's my worst game in my three years." - http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2008020416
He had a medicore game against Indiana, and the last 2 games have been pretty poor.

At least he's willing to admit the truth. Acknowledging the problem is the first step towards solving it...

i'm sure if he dieted properly, took the proper supplementation his game would emerge.
