The thing that bugs the hell out of me isn't Tracy it's management for not anticipating all this with a move for another solid player in the lineup.

This is particularly troublesome considering T-Mac's main substitute in the line-up would be Head who is also likely to be out.

Hell first a flu and now a respiratory infection. But as people said he looked fine and he hoped he would play so I hope he will.

We need him

he needs to stay home and stop spreading the germ to his teammates
it's the same stuff as Yao 2 weeks ago
first Wells got the flu then Yao, T-Mac, maybe other too
they need to stop spreading the germ
if they want to spread it spread it to LeBron

people can whine all they want. its what fans do. is it fair? probably not. but guys like tmac make 20 mil a year so they will have to deal with it.
and like someone just said its not like this is the first time he might sit out. and while some injuries or medical conditions are legit, there have definitely been some that weren't. and fans are complaining because this is such a crucial time and the more these things happen, the less likely it will be that we will make the playoffs.
and just look at allen iverson. the dude has been in the league longer, is older, gets hit and takes beatings on the court more than anyone else and still always ALWAYS shows up to play.
like i said, it might not be fair, but it comes with the territory.
it just doesnt seem like houston is gona make the playoffs and that is a real disappointment to the fans.
NO, PHOENIX, SPURS, MAVS, LAKERS, AND JAZZ are going to make it. that leaves two spots to fight over between rockets warriors nuggets and blazers.
when it comes down to it, Baron davis and stephen Jackson, Allen iverson and Carmelo Anthony are gona fight alot harder and stronger than tmac and yao to make sure they make it.

Agree. But he probably looked well so I really hope he will play. Come on

Always something to stop the win streak. Yao with the same ailment against Utah. Now T-Mac against Cleveland. These are the games we can't afford to lose and the only way we lose them is if 1 of our stars is missing.

What, the flu again? I thought that got cured already. Damn, a lot of people around the league are getting hit by the flu.

I agree totally. They need to beat the teams they are better than. But why do they care??? They're both already paid.

TMac "hopeful" he can play against Cavs

I believe he has played with an upper respiratory infection before but I can't remember if he did or not.

If T-Mac is out we have no chance , they just not gonna let Yao breath.
Who will repleace him?
Head is injured too.
Maybe Mike James to the rescue

Who isn't going to let Yao breathe? Ilgauskas, Gooden, and Varejao?

These are the type of matchups that Yao was created to dominate. Gooden isn't overly athletic, Varejao is a non factor when it comes to big men, and Ilgauskas can't move.... He's going to have a big game.

Varejao and Gooden aren't playing I think. But Varejao poses some problem because he flops like a fish and the refs buy it, then when the refs stop buying his flops he'll start playing overly physical because he knows he'll get away with it.

Yao has had some trouble with big Z in the past but I hope he can come out of his slump today, he'll need to do that to win this game.
