i think its for giving back to his old community... i agree he should be practicing his free throws, but he gave some money back to his old school. what nba player hasnt really done the same. i applaud him for his efforts though...

Did he give money to his own school, too? From that excerpt it sounds like he's just giving money to build a school for Darfur refugees in Chad.
