Event 1 - Rookie vs Sophomore
Sophmores (rookies never win, so I'll be rooting for them and Scola - who has no chance of winning MVP)
LaMarcus Aldridge

Event 2 - Shooting Stars
Detroit (I think they have the best chance of hitting the last shot and defending their title)

Event 3 - Skills Competition
Chris Paul

Event 4 - 3 point competion
Steve Nash

Event 5 - Dunk Contest
Dwight Howard (he's not holding back this year)

Event 6 - All Star Game
West
Chris Paul (I would have picked Carmelo, but I think they will try to let Paul win it because it's in NO)

Wow great thread, that must have taken you forever.

Sophomores will rape them IMO. Rudy Gay wins MVP (dunks galore).
Detroit Pistons; best players in terms of range.
Chris Paul-No reason, I like him the best
Jason Kapono repeats as three point champ
I'll buy the Jamario moon hype
West beats East and.....Melo wins MVP.

DOH. I forgot about that. I wasn't sure it was certain he wasn't playing but in that case...

..my new MVP shall be Melo.

I can't believe Nowitzki is replacing in the 3 pt contest. Dirk is only shooting 29.5% from 3 this season! I would've replaced him with Ray Allen, that'd be one hell of a showdown. Oh well...
