Someone else just predicted the #1 seed the other day.. your statement isn't that bold.
The only way that I see this being possible:
Shaq doesn't pan out at all for the Suns and brings them down.
The Kidd trade never goes through and the Mavs chemistry becomes completely screwed up.
Kobe opts for the surgey and sits out 6 weeks.
Tony Parker doesn't get healthy for the rest of the season.
Hornets, Utah, and Houston will then be the top 3 seeds.
The only way that I see this being possible:

There's now a big possibility that the Kidd trade won't go through not only b/c of Devean George but b/c of the comments Stackhouse said. If it doesn't go through the Mavs are screwed b/c the chemistry will be shot. And the teams already was mentally weak.
The other teams above the HOU all have 'ifs' which does bode well in terms of securing a high seed. Of course something could happen to HOU as well like T-Mac getting a splinter or something.

mentally weak. seriously is there a team weaker than us mentally in this league.

I'm actually hoping the trade does go through because they lose so much depth.
I live in the D/FW area, and a lot of people I talked to are hoping it doesn't for the same reason.
They are glad that Stack ran his mouth.
