Alston/ Jackson/ Brooks
Tmac/ Head/ Jackson
Battier/ Tmac/ Novak/ Gerald Green
Scola/ Landry/ Hayes
Yao/ Landry/ Hayes

Say Hello to Gerald Green, Houston Rocket's newest human victory cigar!

Our 2/3 spot just went from one of the strongest in the league to average.

I'm thinking

Alston- 35/Brooks-13
T-Mac- 35/Jackson- 13
Battier- 28/Jackson-7/Head- 13
Scola-14/Landry-24/Battier-10
Yao-36/Scola- 12

I think we are going smaller at times putting out a 3-guard lineup for the rest of the season. But again he said rotations are all matchups, so Novak may play here and there. As for the playoffs, we desperately need a veteran swing that can defend from the bench...someone with a shot + D with playoff exp. that can play 10-15mpg from the bench.

No way will Bobby Jackson play SF for us. :banghead: He's what? 6'2??

I think the minute distribution will probably be like this during the playoffs(if we make the playoffs at all):

Alston- 32/ Jackson- 16
Tmac- 20/ Jackson- 10/ Head- 18
Battier- 35/ Tmac- 13
Scola- 30/ Landry- 18
Yao- 35/ Landry- 13

With B-jax on this team, i dont see brooks getting any burns anymore. Head is probably high as sh*t, now tha bonzi is gone.

We've played Rafer, Luther, and Aaron at the same time.

If we look at everything per position, we won't see any matchup the NBA puts out. Think outside the box here a bit.

I highly doubt TMac's getting 33mpg in the playoffs, and Landry gets 31mpg.

PG-Rafer/Jackson/Brooks
SG-T-Mac/Head/Green
SF-Battier/T-Mac/Novak
PF-Scola/Landry/Hayes
C-Yao/Landry

Better yet here is it revised but more positional to fan's liking(though making up for their misunderstanding):

Alston- 35/Brooks-13
T-Mac- 15/Jackson- 20/Head- 13
Battier- 28/T-Mac-20
Scola-14/Landry-24/Battier-10
Yao-36/Scola- 12

Ooops made a mistake there. I think Tmac will get 33 mins in the regular season.

As for playoffs, just reduce Head's minutes to 12 and increase tmac's minutes to 39.

I like that. But i think Jackson was brought in here to relieve Alston at the point, not to play the SG spot. B-jax will probably be Alston's primary backup unfortuantely for brooks.

Rafer Alston 32 min/Bobby Jackson 10min/Arron Brooks/6 min
Tmac 32min/Luther Head 15min/Bobby Jackson 11 min

Scola 20 min/Landry 15min/Hayes 10 min/Novak 3 min
Yao 35min/Scola 8min/Deke 5 min

I agree...for the most part but that's in the playoffs. I see nothing wrong with playing Brooks for the regular season, I hope the FO sees this the same way because we need development.

I don't see Brooks getting any more minutes frankly. Jackson is the better player, has played under Adelman before, much more experienced and brought in here to back up Alston. Brooks will be the future prospect as he should be.

Brook's minutes will take a hit, but he will still get some burn.

and how wrong was ESPN about Carl Landry:
http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/players/ ... yerId=3217
2007-08 outlook: The first pick of the second round, Landry is an undersized power forward whose best assets are strength and toughness. Though only 6-7, he has a solid 248-pound frame and could end up being a Chuck Hayes clone. Offensively, most folks aren't expecting much, since he's likely to have trouble scoring inside against bigger players and didn't show much of a perimeter game at Purdue. He may spend more time in the D-League than with the Rockets this season.
