We currently have the 6th best record in the west and we are the 7th seed.

This is a nice article by Hollinger showing the games we have left.

Lets say we need 50 wins to make the playoffs for sure , we need to go 13-12 the rest of the way to get 50 wins , I think we can do it.

We have 12 games left against losing teams , 8 of them are at home , 4 on the road.
And we have 13 games against winning teams , only 5 are at home , 8 are on the road.
We need 9 out of 12 against the losing teams and 4 out of 12 against the winning teams , that will get us 50 wins and into the playoffs , I believe we can do it.
Now in the playoffs we won't have a chance against Dallas , SA , Lakers and PHX but imo we have a decent chance against the Hornets and not a great chance but still a chance against the Jazz.
With the right matchup , I just has this fantasy in my mind about a 41 year old Deke helping T-Mac get out of the 1st round , that can be so awesome.
We probably have a very slim chance of advancing a round but I still want us to get into the playoffs and fight , Go Rockets!

We'll do that.

With that good defense and that good team bball, we will ! Tracy just needs to step up, we need his 30 ppg.

Yeah I read that article, and I'm optimistic about our chances. If we can take care of business and win the games we're supposed to win, then we might be able to sneak a few games against the good teams and get into the playoffs.
