T-Mac's poem. Pretty impressive if he actually wrote it.

Some guy in another forum has the following interpretation:
I guess red ring represent Red China. My question is, what does black ring represents? The implication seems to be that Yao's sudden exit may have something to do with Olympics.
They tell me, Wall
that the rings have blinded you (the Olympics are stopping him from doing what he really wants to do?)
That a red ring chokes you
while the black ring consumes your soul
They tell me, Wall
that the torch weighs heavy
upon your mighty frame (talking about the importance of the Olympics to Yao)
That your corners ache
not the trembling floor
All they want to demolish us, Wall
I see it, feel it
They take Great pleasure in
cracking our foundation (talking about Yao here)
I guess red ring represent Red China. My question is, what does black ring represents? The implication seems to be that Yao's sudden exit may have something to do with Olympics.

I donno, but the word "black" has its own negative connotations as is. These are the colors of the rings themselves, each color of the ring representing the a landmass. In the flag, the americas is one continent, and antartica is omitted. If red was to asia, then the black ring probably is another continent (probably the americas), as is the symbolism on the flag itself. The original design did not spell out which continent is represented by which ring, but to just basically speak of the continents as intertwined in the sporting event, and all that venture are welcomed.
This is good verse. I'm a fan.
