T-Mac is cunning

Post#1 » by McTracy » Wed Mar 5, 2008 10:29 am

Rockets guard Tracy McGrady on Tuesday said Dirk Nowitzki's flagrant foul on Utah's Andrei Kirilenko on Monday should earn a suspension and keep him out of Thursday's game against the Rockets.

"He should be (suspended)," McGrady said. "That was a pretty hard foul. Not only that, to slam a guy to the ground like that, it was a hard foul. It should have been a flagrant-2.

"Yeah, I will (be broken-hearted)," McGrady said with a broad smile. "I will. I want them to be at full strength.

"You see the smile, right?"

Rockets coach Rick Adelman said he was not sure what penalty, if any, would come, though the league does consider whether a flagrant foul floored an opponent.

"I don't know what their criteria is," Adelman said. "They said if you bring a guy down

I agree with him, he should be suspended, Horford was suspended for less.

Kboe was suspended for a lot less I remeber.
Can't lie , if he gets suspended and it can get us a win where we are not supposed to win I will be very happy.
Other opponetes of us probably won't win in Dallas + we will stay ahead of them.

I've seen the play. It definitely wasn't intentional. Andre sort of unwittingly moved back into him with the pump fake and Dirk's arm sort of got caught and clotheslined him.

I don't think it deserves a suspension, and I'd feel cheap if we beat them at less than full strength, and worse if we lost to them that way...but I wouldn't complain.

I would be upset if he wasn't suspended a game, and this was before I knew they were playing us next.

Good try by Mac. I don't think it'll work though.

To me it just looked like Dirk landed funny and was trying to keep his balance. I don't mind if he gets suspended though. He deserves it for that clip of him playing a guitar.

"Cunning" ?????

Do you people even know the definition of the word? Sadly, T-Mac didn't even manage "calculating".

He should put a phone call into Karl Rove.

T-Mac's statement, 1 day later : "Dirk didn't want to play for the German national team because he can't shoot from the outside and he's trying to hide his Nazi heritage."

And that's how you win the popular vote in our (Please Use More Appropriate Word) country. That is "cunning".....and evil.

I was just checking your post history to see where the heck you'd been the last couple months (other missing posters: GTO, E Wizzle) and saw this:

I really didn't care as a Jazz fan. I didn't think Nowitzki intentionally meant hurt AK, but I find it funny that they ask McGrady, and ofcourse he says "I don't want Dirk to play us", in not so many words... ;-)
