The guy is supposely 6'10 but has the vertical hop of a Yao Ming? Can Novak flush down a dunk? Anyone have a video of him dunking in practice, college or NBA? Come to think of it, i dont even recall Novak ever attempting a layup. The guy is a great shooter but he is allergic to the paint or something.

according to his predraft measurement
his standing reach is 8'7" with no step vertical leap of 24.5"
he can dunk
maybe not in the game
since he's always 20 ft away from the basket

Theoretically, he should be able to dunk. BUt has he ever done it in a game like situation? In all 4 years of his collegiate career, he's got to have attempted it atleast once right? If not. Novak just might be the tallest player to have never dunked in college or in the NBA. :o

Why should it matter? I don't think Larry Bird had much of a vertical either.

Athleticism is overrated. Just ask the USA team from '02, '04, and '06.

I remember seeing film on him right after we got him showing that he's actualy a good dunker.

He'll get some with more PT in this system, but he'll spend the majority of his time beyond the arc.

Novak is one of those guys where you'd have a hard time fitting a blank sheet of paper in between the floor and his feet when he gets vertical.
