Rockets gonna be 1st in West after tonight ?

Post#1 » by Mr. Savage » Sat Mar 15, 2008 2:14 am

Lakers are down by double digits with under 3 mins to go against the Hornets.

We are up by 8 against the Bobcats.

Make it happen...!!!

Nope..............tied yes but Lakers conference recored is better then the Rockets (LA 26-11) (Houston 23-13) well 24-13 after you dust off the Bobcats.

Only way you over take us is head to head with a win Sunday.

Lakers are still 1. Conference record is better like Maxrider said. In fact the Lakers have the best conference record in the West.

It's crazy. There are only 2.5 separating the 1st seed from the 7th seed. It's the NBA version of March Madness. Lose and go home.

do we want to be first? i'd rather be second and take my chances w/dallas - phoenix - new orleans than play GS. but maybe not..? i dunno! will we beat GS minus yao?? i like our chances a lot (the most) against dallas.

Yeah, I'm scared of the Warriors, if they start hitting their threes (which our perimeter defense from outside the line has been shaky this season) they can beat ANY team in the league and is much improved on the road.

And we'd likely have to score over 100+ points consistently every night and for a jump-shooting team like we are now, it'd be tough.
