OT - Duke Blue Devils

I don't follow college much, so could anyone tell me why Duke seems to be hated so much?

Reason 1:
It is one of the best schools in the country with an elite varsity basketball program; which you don't see very often. Jealousy? Maybe.
Reason 2:
Many believe that there's a conspiracy between Coach K and the refs. If you watch a lot of Duke games, they get away with a lot of calls.
Reason 3:
Too much media attention; see Dickie V.
Reason 4:
Pure bandwagon hate. One hater leads to another hater.

I'm a longhorn, but I always pull for Duke when they play. Except for the year they thrashed us by 30...

Ugh, back in 06?? Everyone was like "oh well it's Duke". I still can't believe we lost to LSU that year.

When Battier played, he got so many calls in his favor it was like the refs were in love with him.

Why do the fans bounce up and down like a bunch of human pogo sticks? WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE?! SIT DOWN. IT'S ANNOYING. STOP.
Also, what's the deal with Speedo Guy? Is he really necessary? Can't we make him disappear? Come on now...
