We cannot take this team lightly either. We need this win to keep pace in the west.

It should be informally mandatory to put the game time (in CST) in the game thread post.

Thank goodness we are playing at home this team is tough in Minny.. Needless to say I'm scared of Jefferson he is going to demolish us inside.. Key to victory: Don't worry about their record! Come out like they are the Lakers.. This wont be an easy win.. We are the rockets after all

Jefferson MURDERED us the last time, need to come out with intensity and energy at home and put the hammer down early otherwise we might be in for a big surprise.

Jefferson will kill us.
Snyder's been playing well since the trade.
We have to be on our game, but hopefully come out with a 10-15 point win.

T-Mac ailing
After tweaking his left ankle in the first quarter and getting hit hard on his left shoulder in the fourth quarter of the win over Sacramento, Tracy McGrady was only a spectator at Tuesday's practice.
"Ankle's fine," McGrady said. "My shoulder is extremely sore. If I had to play today, I'd give it a shot, but I'm in a lot of pain.
"I probably could (play today), but I don't know how effective I'd be. Every time I lift my arm, I'm in a great deal of pain.
"If I feel this way (today), I'm probably getting an X-ray in the morning. There's a lot more pain today than what I felt last night after the game. I'm a little concerned. As long as there's no separation, I'm fine.
"It's nothing major. It's nothing that's going to keep me out of games. I'm really not worried about that."

any reason to be concerned? cant play with only one good shoulder.

I think we should rest Tmac, or make him come off the bench ONLY IF things get bad. I think we can handle them, but then again no Yao and Tmac is as bas as is it gets. Plus this team is very athletic and can put scores on the board. Jefferson is going to be the main factor.

Either let McGrady start and play or keep him out. Having him come off the bench is the worst possible situation for a player with an injury - there is no chance to loosen up or get warmed up and increases the chances of further injury.

I don't belive it is something really serious.
He should play but it is good that we play Wolves and it is god we will have 3 days off after that game.

The injured T-Mac is back. God, why does T-Mac ALWAYS get hurt? He can never have an injury free year. He is also WEAK. Look at Kobe playing with A BROKEN FINGER. I doubt T-Mac would have done that.

Won't win this without McGrady. Without McGrady we are prone to turnovers and wasted possessions. Those are the things that will allow the Wolves to beat us. Jefferson should dominate tonight. We need this win going into the Spurs on Sunday. We gotta come out and take this team seriously. Can't afford to lose games we should win.

I've got a pretty good idea what injury he has (from experience), and usually those things stick around for a couple days and go away, no biggie. You can play with them, but they're painful and throw EVERYTHING off, and there's really nothing you can do about them. Sometimes I would get them so bad that I couldn't raise my right arm without pushing it up with my left. Still, you can play with this, and it's not anything that causes a bad injury that I'm aware of (if you try to push through it). That's assuming he has what I always had.
Also not to burst anyone's panic button, but he didn't say he couldn't play, AND he said that after and about YESTERDAY's practice. He may still be out anyway, they're finicky about healing, but it won't be a major injury issue - 3-5 days tops typically. Just chill, there hasn't been anything said about today's game yet.

Yea sounds like if its up to him he will play. But our crack medical staff (worst in sports btw) will probably sit him out and diagnose it as separation when its probably something small.
