I wanted to know something about how your gm acquires players. I heard today on espn chris broussard how they use extensive complex statistics to see which players are best suited to help this team win and conversely, to lose and they make changes based on those stats. An example of a direct application he said was how the rocekts traded for battier and it worked out great for them obviously. What is the name for this type of stuff, he mentioned it's only the rockets mostly who use this, and also seattle and cleveland but not so much, and in mlb it's the red sox and oakland a's...any help is much appreciated
