I hadn't heard it said this directly before, but I wouldn't be surprised if a report leaked that Isaiah sat around his house at night eating gunpowder. The man's brain is made from roasted marshmallows. I've met trashed cheerleaders at clubs who would trash him at chess---checkers---tic tac toe--- marbles ---jacks----tying their shoelaces--- ... to be honest I'm not quite sure of any tasks that either of them could pull off successfully, sorry (unless Isaiah wants to challenge them to a grind-off with random strangers then fall over a table).

One thing Isaiah did right that people are not giving him credit for is upgrade the talent of the team.

Remember how messed up the team was when Scott Layden was GM? It was millions over the cap, had LONG contracts at almost every position, and the players were trash.

Even though they are still losing, at least on paper they have talent. Isaiah's problem is that he seeks out talent without regard for chemistry.

Any sensible person could have predicted that pairing Randolph with Curry in the front court, and adding him to a team with Marbury, Q Rich, Nate Robinson, and others would be disastrous.

You can't have that many self-centered players on one team and not expect a losing record.

There's the Jerry West rule. Figure out whatever the logo is planning to do and try to beat him to it.

The Isiah Thomas rule has now been written. Whatever he says do the exact opposite and you'll at least won't sink.

Who listens to Isiah? The dude is a (Please Use More Appropriate Word), just proves how much more defense and chemistry play apart in winning ball.

If Isiah hadn't said that to Deke and traded him to Chicago then he would never have become a Rocket. So we should all be thanking him.

uhhh, don't they still have long contracts??? and don;t they still have the worst salary cap in the enitre league??? and wasn't it isaih that traded for penny hardaway and stephon marbury at the same time??? Not to mention the ridculous contract he gave jerome james, taking on jalen rose's contract and Zach randolph's contract. And don;t forget that he also traded Francis for an expiring in penny hardaway.

Yeah but I think his point is that at least now they have a 20/10 big man, an 18/7 big man, a couple of interesting guards and some good forwards (like David Lee).

There's talent, there are pieces that can be moved, Marbury is about to turn into a GIGANTIC expiring contract...

Once Isiah goes, a real and semi-coherent/competent/intelligent GM will be able to start the rebuilding process with some assets at hand.
