FWIW: Yao to Boston in the off-season?

It doesn't make too much sense for either team. But still, here's the rumor:

Yao

for

Ray
Perkins
2 1st rounders

But still, you guys must realize that you are a championship contender even without Yao. And Ray and Perkins would definitely help.

So they're asking Houston to take Ray Allen who's one season away from retirement? Also, Boston traded 2 first round picks in the KG deal. There's no way in hell, we'll accept Boston's 2011 and 2012 first rounders. That's lightyears down the road.

Makes absolutely no sense.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Rockets are looking into trading him. But that deal is just awful.

I read this is Sporting News, but didn't bother reporting it here because it's obviously bogus. Here is what the article says:

"Not only do our sources say Yao Ming is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a stress fracture in his elft foot, but we're hearing the Rockets, despite -- or perhaps because of -- their recent winning ways, have a deal with the Celtics on the table. How does Yao to the C's for Ray Allen, Kendrick Perkins, and two first-round picks sound?"

Morey's not a Chris Wallace or a John Weisbrod type. This deal is completely irrational. I don't believe a word on that article and that site is losing its credibility.

That Boston team with Yao would win 80 games a year. LOL
