The West are a bunch of great matchups.
Lakers-Denver
I think people could be selling Denver short a bit. The Lakers aren't the strongest defensive team so it should be an offensive minded game and the Nuggets especially if AI, Melo and JR get going they could beat any team in the league. Saying that I'd expect the Lakers to win though, they at least play SOME defense and Kobe's the best player in the series.
San Antonio vs. Phoenix
It's a crime one of these teams have to go in the first round, Phoenix has owned them recently but the Spurs are the Spurs and in playoff time they're even better. They've got Barry back and Duncan has never lost in the first round. I'm not sure on if they can stop the dribble penetration of Parker and Ginobili and the Spurs also have HC. I'd lean towards the Spurs right now, but another part of me says Phoenix because Shaq makes them a team much better suited to play them
New Orleans v. Dallas
I'm leaning towards Dallas for this one, they're much better at home than the Hornets are so I could see the Mavs stealing one on the road and they're obviously much more experienced.
In the East, obviously the main attraction is the Wizards and the Cavs. Assuming Butler if fully healthy and considering how poorly the Cavs have played AFTER that trade I could see the Wizards pulling it out but if anything you learned from last years playoffs, don't doubt LeBron.
The rest aren't really that interesting except possibly Toronto-Orlando, but that only because of Bosh vs. Howard, who usually kill each other whenever they play. Oh and how can I forget RASHO!
Really setting up to be one of the best playoffs of all time. If we can do something in em, it'd be even better.

haha, I really can't decide, it's seriously the definition of could go either way. If I had to pick, I think the Suns still don't have an answer for Parker or Ginobili's dribble penetration or Duncan's inside play. Then add the obvious advantages of the Spurs having the more sound defense and better coaching, I'd lean and probably pick the Spurs to win the series.

Wizards couldn't execute/knock down shots in the 4th quarter, the stretch where Jamison missed three good looks in a row to give them the lead with under 3 minutes to go really hurt them. On the other hand LeBron had the two biggest buckets of the game and pretty much iced it.
Phoenix is rolling against the Spurs right now, 16 point lead, and that's with Shaq in major foul trouble (3 and there's still sometime left in the second).
