The Pantheon of Bad Foul Calls

Where exactly would you say TMac's "foul" on Kirilenko ranks in the all time massive botch-job stable of insanely bad calls from myopic and/or mob-run officials?

Turrble, just turrble
- In the last minute and a half of a critical, close game
- The end result in and of itself was only a minor offensive foul that should NOT have been called in the playoffs
- Not only did Kirilenko flop to sell the call, but he initiated and drove the call by reaching out, grabbing McGrady's arm, and yanking him forward. This could have been worse had McGrady been called for a foul because Boozer ripped his arm off and beat him to death with it at midcourt

Not-so-bad
- Only the first round
- Didn't end up critically altering the outcome
- The sheer badness of the rest of the calls in the game diluted the level to which this one was able to stand out
- Set up a spectacular game-winning block by Landry

There should be a fourth option,

"Name your poison. Please try to exclude Bennett Salvatore and Violet Palmer from this discussion"

but I can't get the stupid poll thing to add it.

Ak47 is a awful player to watch! The league should give techs or fouls to floppers!

the call was awful...its like the refs are trying EVERYTHING to make them in...i know they dont but damn it..

they made 2 3 pointers with the foot on the line and they should have count it as a 2 pointer... we should have won by 4 points...

ohhh and on that last drive.. mr.williams took 3 steps but refs didnt call it

It's only fouling if you get caught!

A flop a day keeps David Stern at bay!

Foot on the line, no need to whine!

Sorry, I am bored and didn't sleep very well...I vote for Turrble, just turrble because it reminds me of my admiration and fascination with one Round Mound of Rebound, but I refuse to vote in the poll because I am not a conformist and refuse to bow down to your "poll naziism" so take that.

all those flops are in accordance to Sloans game play

not like say Ginobili, who should have his last name changed to Flopinobli

No, no, no...it's either the intentional foul called by Mike Mathis on Reggie in game 7 of the 94 ECF, or the "four-point play continuation" allowed on Larry Johnson in Game 3 of the 99 ECF.

The NBA is rigged. Refs can control the outcome of the game fairly easily. I don't understand what's so hard about refereeing a game. I've done it many times and sure the game is moving quicker, but these are NBA players. They shouldn't fly back when somebody touches them a la Scola offensive foul or T-mac's foul the last game. If you're going to let them play you can't call that BS at the end of a game. Also, people not being set and simply falling back outside the restricted area, and getting the charge call is ridiculous. That's not good defense that's just BS refs making a call by staring at their feet. How is that good refereeing?
