Then, who would you go for in the NBA today? (Basically, I'm asking who's your second favorite NBA team)
Mine, today, would be the Spurs.

So T-Mac United, you were originally a Orlando Magic fan?

I'm like you TL. The Spurs would be without question my favorite team. I've actually become a big fan of them even with the Rockets in Houston, and I was really hoping this season and last would end with a 2nd and 3rd I-10 WCF, but if the Rockets go down I'm for the Spurs all the way. If the Rockets play the Spurs I usually want Houston to win, but I do want to see TD win another ring and finals MVP to cement his status to all the doubters(like that'll actually happen).

It'd probably be the Warriors, just because they're my local team and Baron/Ellis are two of may favorites.

Yes, since 92'. Their poor management led to the loss of many superstars, and I got fed up when they traded McGrady. The McGrady trade, made me a Rockets fan, and after following this team for 4 years, I think I have become a Rockets fan.
Ironic for a guy who deeply hated the Rockets since Magic's defeat in '95.

I'll chose the Cavs because Lebron is my favorite NBA Superstar.

There was never a moment in my life when I liked the Jazz.

Yea really. I'm pretty sure some people down in the South still castrate for liking the Jazz. It's not something certain "folks" take lightly.
Good thing I don't know any of those people I reckon, not that I reckon I have a problem there since I despise the Jazz.
As far as the original topic goes, if Houston didn't have an NBA team I probably wouldn't watch the NBA since I really don't care for the majority of players, coaches, referees, or teams in general....unless of course Sir Charles made a comeback, then I'd be forced to watch.

There are doubters? TD is one of the best PF of all time, book it!! That JUST HAPPENED!!!! Look at his numbers especially in a time like this where there the talent is so diluted and any team can win on a given night. Bball is a team sport, but if you have a guy named Tim Duncan on your time, you're already better off than 29 teams in the league.

OT- If rockets weren't here, I'd prob watch players like Lebron and D. Howard, Kobe, not any team in particular. They seem like they like to win and will work hard to achieve that. I respect hardwork, period.
