My "Bird" Theory; reason we can't win....

We are actually over-achieving without a crucial part in championship caliber team...the "White-boy". every championship team in recent memory has had one; Lakers = Madsen; SA = Kerr, Bent Barry

Can anyone tell me what happened to Miami after they traded away Jason Kapono????? exactly, there is no substitute for a good old fashion all American shooter who happens to be white; in some cases a European/Non-American will greatly increase your chance of winning but the championship will be out of hand ie Nash, Dirk, Peja; with one exception in Okur on the Pistons. Scola does NOT count he is Argentine and therefore South American, there are no results conducive to players south of the border and winning (Nene, Najera, Herman, Barbosa) Oberto and Manu joined already established championship teams which already had their designated white-boy.

Therefore it greatly pleases me to see that the majority want Mike Miller here, he is by far the best white-american, we would be unstoppable with him on are team.

This is the Bird Theory if it wasn't true why does Larry Bird one of the greatest players ever rack his brain trying to get all the white players in the league.

this true but he must be a part of the team Novak is sort of a disgrace and doesn't see much PT, he is more of a Shawn Bradley than a true "whiteboy"....

Let's be honest though. All true "whiteboys" are not far removed from Shawn Bradley.

He was an old school, we now have new age "whiteboys" Korver, Miller, David Lee, Diener, Hinrich, meaning they aren't stiffs can move their feet and play exceptionally defense... David Lee is just a beast though 9th wonder of the world.

Psssh. Billy Cunningham, Tom Chambers, Jeff Foster, Pete Maravich, Matt Bullard, Brent Barry, Jason Williams, Rex Chapman, etc, etc.

And since when can Korver play defense? Dude's got bird leg syndrome at least twice as bad as McGrady. Kinda surprised he doesn't sever his calves just trying to take a jump shot.

This post alone pretty much puts a bullet in this theory. I remember on the radio on the John and Lance show how they used to call Barry, Sura and Padgett the "White Boy Power Squad" :rofl:

On that note, although this thread had potential, there are some flaws to theory that have relegated it to a non issue. I guess there is nothing left to discuss here. Nice try though.

This thread reminds me of that short stretch in the regular season where Novak was getting some decent burn and hearing Bullard orgasm everytime Novak hit a 3.

there is no evidence of novak being worst player than larry bird. at the moment novak > larry bird.

80% of whites are too soft. gasol, bargnani etc...
