JVG is totally the opposite of what the Suns had been doing in the past 4 years

I think what he meant is if the Suns want a defensive coach they should go after one of the best in JVG.

Shaq came up 2nd in MVP voting under SVG, he actually played great under him, and from what I can remember they got along great. Not to mention both are two totally different coaches with different personalities.

Actually, it is pretty much the other way around. He is only interviewing two guys with head coaching experience (Terry Porter and Phil Johnson). Other than that he is looking at assistant coaches. From all indications, Turner will probably make it to the second round of interviews.
Can you guys tell me more about him? He seems like an intriguing candidate.
