Post#1 » by bubba » Wed Jun 4, 2008 11:36 am

saw this on another board and thought it was interesting. does anyone listen to certain music to pump you up before you play a game or watch one on tv? how about while at the gym? these are some good songs to workout or pump you up, i think.

eminem - lose yourself
fort minor - remember the name
godsmack - awake
kanye west - stronger

any favorites?

What kind of music do you like?

I listen to both rock and hip-hop when I work out. Mostly songs with fast rhythm and progressive beat.

Here's my ipod shuffle playlist:

Any type of Rock
Rage Against the Machine - Bulls on Parade
Killswitch Engage - My Curse
Bang Camaro - Push Push
Bad Religion - Infected
Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction
Pennywise - The World
Queens of the Stone Age - Go With the Flow
Incubus - Anna Molly
System of a Down - Toxicity
NOFX - Dinosaurs Will Die
Green Day - Hitchin' a Ride

Rap/Hip-Hop/R&B
Lupe Fiasco - I Gotcha
Q. Amey - Like Dat
50 Cent - In Da Club
Kanye West - Stronger
Jay-Z - Blue Magic
Fabolous - Get Right
Yung Joc - Bout It
T.I. - Big **** Poppin
Talib Kweli - Get By
Three 6 Mafia - It's a Fight

One of my friends was a trance dj for a while, and he got me into all kinds of electronic music.

Trance is a good genre to listen to while lifting, IMO.

Finally, someone else who understands good music. Nice to know there is another music savant on the board. She puts that wig on and rocks out like none other. I don't really care for her much sans the wig though.

I still can't believe how many people are sleeping on the Wiggles though. Everytime I hear a song by them I get fired up to the point where I want to destroy something or pulverize somebody.
