I concur on it being terrible. Not Sam Adams terrible, but very close.

give me the 'quick reply' back
if RGM wanted to change the format might as well change the background

just bring back the quick reply box, anything else is in place

I would even hide the comment number

Glad i'm not the only one. But one thing i do like is that the emoticon is on the side. Its more accessible now and i plan on spamming them to no end.

I like the new format, but as you guys said, this quoting system sucks.

You'll get used to it. This has been in the works for countless months. I remember the last time they witched the look to the previous one and everybody complained about it at first. It's just different. Quick Reply is the only real issue to me.

Not sure what will change in the end, but the update isn't complete yet. Several mods are also asking for the return of the quick reply function so if it is possible, we may get it back. We just have to be patient for the time being.

Three things I dislike:
1. The removing of 'Quick Reply.'
2. The absence of borders upon quoting a post.
3. Sam Cassell-like emoticons...

Yeah I liked the older format better , but this is not so bad.

I feel your pain. In a Front Office shake-up I went from Asst GM(hee-hee) to a measly prospect.
I like the new math-I just checked and 3 posts from 3 differ days all give me same number of posts.
Gonna miss the quick reply.

Ok guys, this is what I have heard so far in regards to some of your concerns. The forum is "bare bones" right now meaning that they did what they could, but the forum needed to be back up and running so there is still some things that have to be done.

Quick Reply will be returning, but most likely after the draft.
The quoting issue will be fixed.
The color scheme will be tweaked eventuallly.
The Sam Cassell smilies are here to stay...sorry.

If I find out any other things that I can share with you guys I will keep you informed.

Man. From Asst. Gm to rookie. I'll just say that I got sick of running the team and tried my hand at actually playing the damned game.

Anyway, thanks for the news, Vator. Those updates may ease the pain a little bit.
