while some fans wanted Yao to take the summer off to rest there's also some fans that wanted T-Mac to work his rear off for this summer

Good read. We are without a doubt one player away. And yes this will be McGrady's last season b/c like the article says...his expiring contract and him entering that stage in his career where he is becoming THAT player that a good team needs to acquire to become great make him prime trade bait next summer.

i doubt that that one player would be coming by draft. rockets needs to trade the pick (25)+battier or whoever for somebody like j. rich, or Rich J.

To get someone like J Rich? Someone overpaid who underachieved in Charlotte and loves to jack threes? Granted he was hitting his 3s at a high clip, I'll still say no thanks...especially at the expense of Battier. I'm amazed at how people still don't understand that defense wins championships. You obviously need an above average offense to go along with a stout defense, but it's no coincidence that Detroit, SA, and now Boston are hoisting the trophy at season's end.
