Sounds like we're in for another few months of:
"What the hell was Morey thinking!"
and later:
"I was ALWAYS a fan of _____________, ever since Morey drafted him."

So true... I'd say about 80% of our board members do that.

What? I was under the impression that these boards were generally very accurate about the NBA draft, particularly with regard to the Rockets.
(I openly do not know jack about the draft and could not care less before seeing the players play)

And that's how it's supposed to be.
But a lot of these fans act like draft experts and saying that they have watched plenty of college games and draw conclusions about a player. They also plagiarize their opinions from sites like Draftexpress.
cough... cough... Luther Head, Rudy Gay, Aaron Brooks...

Rox also looked at a ton of guys at Minnesota a couple of weeks ago.
Plus they host the 21 guy workout at Orlando every year.
So there's that.

I find that people who follow college basketball tend to overrate rookies.
I don't follow college basketball, so all I know is that Rose and Beasley are supposed to be good. Maybe they will even be as good as Charles O'Bannon, Adam Morrison, and Mateen Cleaves!

I don't follow College Basketball but I watch alot of it, and I think I have problems seeing some of the "NBA Ready" Players not nba ready...

Mateen Cleaves was one of the best ankle breakers the NBA has ever seen.
Bones lay strewn behind him in a surreal ossific wake.
How many men short of Diomedes can say that?
Too bad they were all his.

I don't know much about Stanley Burrell, but dude appears to be well-spoken and has the right attitude in approching the game. I don't think he's projected to be drafted, but I hope he gets drafted/signed by an NBA team.

From what I have seen on youtube I hope we sign these players to play on our summer league team.

those are highlights
if they don't even look good on highlight
they don't deserve to be in nba

Right. You won't find youtube highlights of a guy turning the ball over, or blowing a defensive assignment, or dribbling the ball off his foot, or scoring on the wrong goal, or generally doing something stupid.... unless that guy is Lamar Odom.
Odom passes to the ref:

CDR won't be much of a NBA Ready Player...
