Shawne Williams Available

Post#1 » by wadero » Wed Jun 25, 2008 3:05 pm

Larry Bird said this kid is on thin Ice. Here is a link to bio from when he was drafted in 06.

Maybe we should see if we could work somthing out for him. He can play postions 1 thru 4 any thoughts.

If he's on thin ice with a bad team, he's probably one of their problems.

Shawne Williams, another tweener who can't play the 3 or 4.

Whenever I hear of a 3/4 tweener I always think of someone who is too small/weak to play the 4 effectively, and too slow/uncoordinated to play the 3 effectively. All in all a 4 in a 3's body, never a 3 in a 4's body. I don't know why. Example: Chuck Hayes

I wouldn't mind getting Williams to be a backup SF for us. Lets face it, after Battier we have nothing at SF. In 14 minutes, Williams averaged 6 a game off the bench, thats 4 less than Battier. lol. He just needs to improve his shot. He has potential, if we came out last year he would have been a top 10 pick.

I want Sean Williams, not Shawnee
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Sure, if we don't have to give up much.

So?

I'd much rather give Gerald Green another shot.

Thankfully, the word "no" can be applied to both equally.
