Has anyone heard anything (good I hope) on our overseas prospects? Can we expect them to play on the summer league team?

I heard Newley can't come to this years summerleague team.
And about Elyihau I still don't know , he has a contract still with Maccabi Tel Aviv but may still ask to leave because of lack of playing time.
He refused to come to the national team because of a bad relationship with the coach , who coached in Maccabi last year and didn't play him much.

Both suck bigtime and aren't nba ready. So who cares. They won't get playing time.

About Newley I don't know.
But I know Elyihau very well and I can say 99% he will never be in the NBA.

He is a tweener between 3and 4.
Has a body of a 3 and a skillset of a 4 on offense.
He has no post game at all and his jumper is really bad.
On defense he is way too weak to play inside and can't even guard 4's in europe.

In order to be in the NBA he needs to develop a jumpshot and handles so he can play the 3 , or add a lot of strength and play some 4.
In 3 years he has shown no progress in those ares , none.

His strengths are that he is very athletic(nothing special in NBA standards though) , understands where he needs to be on the floor and is a very good finisher around the basket with all kind of floaters and akward shots.

Believe me guys he is not NBA material , even if he does make it on a roster he will never be more than a scrub.
