Well... NBA executives are still as inept as ever. I wouldn't be shocked now if Landry also gets the full MLE. *eagerly waiting for that tisbee paper eating video on youtube*

That just helped out Landry a lot. If the Pacers have to give Landry 5 years 30 MIL, man that's tough.

Just unbelievable. No wonder the tickets are so expensive nowadays. We're help paying 6 million a year to 3rd tier point guards.

But that was when he averaged 20.3 a game in Toronto. Beno averaged 12.8 a game with the Kings.
Nevertheless that was a bad decision for the Kings.

I'll disagree it was a bad move. Udrih was playing well last season for SAC and he is going to be their starting PG. He isn't worth 6 MIL a year, but someone else would have payed him like LAC and then SAC would have been royally F*cked because they don't have a PG.

LOL dang you guys are brutal. Beno played great last year. He's a legit starting PG or at least better than Alston last year. The only thing Alston really has on him is probably handles and defense.

Now he might not have deserved the full MLE given he only played well 1 year (his contract year), but if his work ethic isn't a question I think it is reasonable given the minutes he plays and the production he gives. He's young too so there's room for improvement. And didn't Steve Blake get the full MLE last year too? And he's worse than Beno for sure.

I thought HOU might have had a shot at Beno but with the full MLE no shot since HOU has to use part of the MLE to resign Landry.

Didn't the Spurs waived him or something? He was the 3rd string PG for the Spurs behind Tony Parker and freaking Jacque Vaughn. 6 Millions a year for only one good year of production.

Who cares. Its the Kings. I am worried about what we are gonna do. We need a 3rd scorer. What are we doing to address that? Don't tell me Brent Barry is our answer.

No actually he was a back up to Tony Parker his rookie year, won a rookie of month and was selected to the rookie team during the allstar... im not sure but im sure he was then moved down because the spurs signed Van Exel until he got hurt and he continued to play well ... then he was traded to Minnesota Timberwolves , who waved him for what ever reason... he signed with the Kings... and just tore it up... when Bibby came back he was moved to the bench hence not alot of flashey numbers but he outplayed Bibby which allowed the Kings to trade him to ATL... but he did look good with the Spurs ...

Atlanta: Bibby - $15,225,000
Chicago: Hinrich - $10,000,000
Cleveland: Eric Snow - $7,310,000/Damon Jones - $4,460,186
Dallas: Jason Kidd - $21,372,000
Denver: Iverson - $21,937,500/Chucky Atkins - $3,400,000
Detroit: Chauncey Billups - $11,050,000
Houston: Bobby Jackson - $6,090,000/Rafer Alston - $4,900,000
Indiana: TJ Ford - $8,000,000/Jamal Tinsley - $6,750,000
LA Lakers: Derek Fisher - $4,698,000
Milwaukee: Mo Williams - $8,353,000
New Jersey: Devin Harris - $7,800,000
New York: Marbury - $21,937,500
Orlando: Jameer Nelson - $5,555,555
Philadelphia: Andre Miller - $9,999,999
Phoenix: Steve Nash - $12,250,000
San Antonio: Tony Parker - $11,550,000
Seattle: Earl Watson: $6,200,000/Luke Ridnour: $6,500,000

he fits right in hes not too great but not too bad... 6 million a year isnt bad at all for a starting PG.

Cleveland and Seattle easily have the worst PGs in the league.

I hope that a glance at that (incomplete) list gets some people to stop whining about Rafer.
