3 IMPORTANT RULES!!!
1. Members must consider former/current Rockets players only. Hence, PLEASE CONSIDER THEIR YEARS WITH THE ROCKETS ONLY!!!

2. We'll have a field of 5 candidates for each voting. Each member must vote one player from the field that is worthy to be in the Top 20 list.

3. Additionally, each member must nominate a candidate he/she feels should be added to the field for the subsequent ranking. This nomination is to replace the winner in the following vote.
(In each thread, we have a list of 5 candidates where one will be chosen as the winner. Since in every thread, we'll be voting one player off the list, it leaves only 4 candidates. Hence, the nomination is to include one player and make it a 5 candidate list for the next round.)

Matt Maloney, Charles Jones, Matt Bullard? This is getting pretty ridiculous. Off teams from around that general era alone, Horry, Elie, and Cassell are names that seem to ring a bell as more deserving candidates. Even Kevin Willis would be a better choice.

Yeah let's just ignore what he meant to the team for 5 and a half years and only remember the fact that he was pissed that he only played 16 minutes in a playoff game and got into with the coach because he wanted to play more. His ego was already bruised after losing(and rightfully so) his starting job to Clyde Drexler. I don't condone his poor decision, but that guy was a true competitor and he played an important role in bringing the city of Houston it's first championship in a major sport and helped forge the toughness on that team. You don't take food out of the mouth of a crazed dog and expect him not to snap at you. That fire and competitiveness is what I will always remember most about Mad Max...well that and him attacking that fan, but whatever.

...and Jon Barry is nominated too now. Wow is all I can say about that. Well I can say more, but at this point, what is the point?

I agree about Mad Max, but I still think Barkley was the better Rocket. I think Vernon is one of the key reasons us Rockets fans can say with a straight face we would have won our titles regardless of whether or not Jordan retired.

Heh. Yeah got to screwing around a bit with my noms around the last round or two, I'll just stop instead. Not too sure who to nominate anymore since it's all role players at this point (Scottie Brooks anyone?)

Really don't want to see Barkley come in before #19 or 20.
