I saw it some time back, but didn't buy it. Had I known that it was going to be impossible to find for
MONTHS....
Rather annoying that Rock Band doesn't support Guitar Hero guitars and vice versa. The space the extra guitars would eat up is more discouraging than the extra $150 I'd have to drop to get two more guitars. Dirty bas---ds. What's next, requiring a new wiimote for each game?

Instead of buying Rock Band on wii, you should save your money for Guitar Hero World Tour, which is coming out this fall.
Even the wii version promises downloadable songs and online play. Users will also get to create their own songs and share them.
The game will also have drums and a mic, like Rock Band. Of course, your older guitar hero guitar will work. Just don't buy a second one (if you haven't already), because it will come with a new one.

Sounds good to me. I have a second guitar already though. I'll just buy the game sans guitar for cheaper.

With E3 starting today, this seems like a good time to revive this thread.
Here's something to get you started:
Final Fantasy XIII confirmed for 360!

what if you're sitting 10' away from the microphone?
why can't they just do some headset?
i guess Nintendo don't want you to spend too much money on buying 4 headset

They say it's a community microphone that can pick up sounds from anywhere in the room.
This route is more accessible for families (and old folks' homes?), allowing everyone to get into the game - not just the one person wearing a headset.

Was wondering when something like that would come out. You remember the oddball peripheral that came with SNES Earthbound? Scratch n' Sniff stickers. They were game-integrated.

Not very familiar with Nintendo, eh?

Those guys LOVE to get people buying accessories.

No.

Weird. So at certain points the game would instruct you to scratch the sticker of such and such a thing?

Case in point: Wii Sports sequel announced. Will come with the new Wii Motion Plus accessory that is supposed to give you even better motion control.

Something like that, I never actually ran into one of the carts, just remember reading the review in an old NP sidebar.
