Guard Michael Redd might be heading to Cleveland from Milwaukee, and the Lakers are talking to Sacramento for a deal involving Lamar Odom for Ron Artest and Kenny Thomas. If they fail there, the Lakers will go after Houston's Carl Landry on the free-agent market.

If they are going to re-sign Sasha Vujacic, then there is little chance they can get Landry.

Also, this was written on June 25th. Things might of changed by now.

If they are not willing to match the offer to Turaif I can't see them offering more than that to Landry.
We will match a 4 million a year for 4 years offer in a second.

We already have a thread dedicated to Carl Landry news/rumors and until there is any real substantial news break, these type of reports should go there. The Lakers don't even seem like they are capable of offering Landry a full MLE type deal and even if they did we could match it.
1. Why on earth would they even do that when they refused to match Turiaf at less than that?
2. A lot of people think that the fact that they still need to sign Sasha has an influence on how much they are willing to spend this summer and offering Landry anything around 2 or 3 million per would probably be doing the Rockets a favor.
