Yeah, it's been pretty boring.

Think of it this way though, we've been excited going into next season almost every year the past couple of seasons (Swift, Wells and even Derek Anderson to name a few) but this season there's no such excitement except for Brent Barry to an extent (who should have more impact than those names) and all those seasons ended resulting in a first round exit or missing the playoffs entirely. Maybe in a off-season with relatively less excitement results in better things!

.....who am I kidding, even I don't believe that....lol

I'll bite on that theory. Not like there's anything else to do.

+1.

I'll dance with what brung me, failing more entertaining choices. It's not like we have real choices. It's either the Rocky Mountain Revue (named after a vaudeville show?) or - heaven forbid - BASEball. Gah. No thanks.

Is it a bad sign when I've marked my calender with the dates, times, and channels of televised "USA Select vs. TeamUSA" basketball games 20 minutes after they're announced online? Does that indicate some deeper pathology?

Probably. But I don't care. Dark is the night and cold is the ground. Translated: A true basketball apostle lives within whatever space the game provides.

(God, I'm sounding like the basketball equivalent of John Irving, with his self-congratulatory amateur wrestling diatribes. Somebody stop me before I write a book.)

Why stop you? I'd buy your book. But, yeah the offseason sucks because no other real sport is going on. It isn't too bad once football season starts, but hockey and baseball in between stinks!!!

"Hockey"? Que?

What is that? Some arcane French word?

Are you being uppity? I don't follow.

Yes sir! The summer is my video game/reading time because it's beyond depressing. I don't have 4 hours to watch ONE baseball game, and if I did who cares about the results, there's only 70 more games to play during the SECOND HALF of the season. On top of that we haven't done anything during the off-season(not that it's necessarily a bad thing) so I have nothing to get excited about. College football will be coming soon though so it's all good!

Yea i'm guess i'm just used to previous off-seasons where it seemed like there was more to talk about.
Last off-season we had Adelman's new system, the Franics and James signings, getting Scola from the Spurs, and how it would all fit together to talk about.
This year it just seems to be Barry and the Landry situation (the annual T-Mac trade talks do not count)

this offseason was pivotal, and morey is going to mess it up. battiers trade value is at an all time high, and we could EASILY get our 3rd scorer.

Damnit Mcgrady2Head why you gotta do me like that and get all regressive? The second I complement you on appearing to have a few coherent thoughts you decide it's time to latch onto one topic and start repeating it incessantly again. Ain't right man, that's all I'm saying.
Morey 2020.
