If Yao ain't on the court there's no way I can get off that 3 point shot. I won't look good. Well Yao's back this season, I can sign with the Rockets and be able to get off the 3 point shot easily and look good. Guess what I'll sign with the Rockets.

You meant "ulterior" motive.

Of course I made it up.. But if it was all about Adelman's system, why not sign with the Rox in February? And Adelman doesn't play his system half the time.. It's all about Yao's presence.. "Yao's injury weighed on my mind".. LOL yeah the big man makes your game flow Barry.. way to go.. He used Duncan the same way... No ****...

Guy's like this are not competitive. They look for the easy ride. And obviously a dominating post presence makes their game click.. I really don't want a guy that isn't willing to work.

How old is barry? Exactly, this guy isn't 20-22 years old and can improve many aspects of his game. If anything he's on the decline and you can't blame a man for trying to make money anyway he can. To tell you the truth, I don't want him doing much except shoot the 3 (maybe a little defense). The spacing on the floor will be nice and I think with ABrooks on the floor with Barry, you'll see a much improved AB, stat-wise.

Have you ever been a free agent, trying to make an NBA squad? Do you have any idea how insanely fit you would have to be?
Mr. Barry is a vet. He's not looking for a quick paycheck. Those
don't exist in the NBA. He's simply looking for a place to play, where his skills are matched well with an existing team dynamic.
Scratch all that. My bad. I'm tired of suffering fools.
Have you ever played a pickup game IN YOUR LIFE? If you had, you would know every basketball player south of MJ and Connie Hawkins plays every game buttressed (or distracted) by the innate knowledge of his own limitations. Less than 5 seconds after stepping on any gym floor, a real player figures out exactly how his skills match up with the other dudes on the floor. Then you/he determines how he can be most effective....ability be damned. It's the Darwinian nature of sport.
Go play softball. I'm already tired of you.

So you made up a Brent Barry quote somehow believing that he is really thinking that, and then you trash the guy based on your false quote? Are you serious?
Here's why Brent Barry didn't sign with us in February...because SA had a much better chance of winning the championship than he did. Duh.
