i was @ a coffee shop in belgium when i heard this on 610 online..... i literally flipped out and started saying holy sh**!!! upon losing internet connection i sprinted a block back to my hotel and got an internet connection and saw these topics to confirm......my goosebumps still havent gone away but i dont think i'll be able to sleep now.....
without giving up battier....wow..... i will seriously fear people who have graduated from MIT now because morey is freeking amazing......

I am a fan of greene but the article says we need to wait till august 14th to know for sure....i dont think i can wait that long lol.....

What do you guys think will happen with landry now??

if Adelman can keep Ron-ron under control (optimistically, 80% chance. They know/respect each other at least),
and if we can actually stay healthy for an entire season (we're due goddamit ... surely we're due),

then we are legit contenders.

We're balancing out contracts to get artest and we still have our MLE for Landry.

This is going to be great!

Now all we need is Franchise to get in shape and contribute off the bench.

Though Artest has been best used as a small forward, Rockets forward Shane Battier is also considered among the league’s best players at defending small forwards and shooting guards. But because Artest can defend players from small guards to power forwards, the Rockets could finish games with Artest and Battier on the court together, either with Tracy McGrady sliding over to point guard or with Artest matching up with power forwards.

I was pissed when I saw this thread title. I thought it was another one of those bad jokes. You know, trick people with the title to get them to click on it and then it be a completely unrelated article. I was thinking of threatening you with a suspension for playing with my emotions, but then I went to the front page and my whole face got hot, my head started hurting and I couldn't believe my eyes. Then after I clicked on the thread and saw we didn't have to give up Battier in the deal I jumped up from my seat and went absolutely ape crazy!!! This is unfreakingbelievable.

Sacramento has a lot of bigs. They are lacking wing players after trading Artest, so Greene makes the most sense.
