Best of Ron Artest Videos:NO LAYUPS!!!

Post#1 » by Dinky Bits » Wed Jul 30, 2008 2:27 am

Dinky Bits favorite Ron quote:

"They better not put me in the All-Star Game. I won't shoot, but I'll dominate that easy game. I'll be playing hard defense. I'll be foulin'. I'll be flagrant fouling. Everyone will be like, 'What are you doing?'" -- Ron Artest.

This is who we're getting, for better or worse, and I love it.

The owner of Detriot is a trip. He said if I didn't lay on the table the guy would've never threw the beer. That don't make sense because i lay on tables alot... i lay on benches in my neighborhood and nobody throws cups or beers or rocks at me.

I hope the Rockets plays the Jazz again in the playoffs, so I can see Ron battle the Jazz again.

Looks like our rivalry with Utah just heated up a couple notches. Jazz fans HATE Ron Artest.

And he'll stab somebody.

Is Grooves awesome? I saw a bunch of pictures of some girls partying there yesterday. Don't know how or what the place actually is, but going by what I saw I think I'd like to go. Price range if it is indeed good? (under 50 under 50 under 50 pleasepleaseplease)

Skip it.

The food is horrible, the athletes sneak in through the kitchen (directly to a private room), and the drinks all contain some combination of Hennessey and Grenadine. Gah. (Though to their credit, they occasionally book Rick Lee's blues band. He's like a Korean Jimi Hendrix.)

Somewhere on my cell phone, I've got a pic of Rick Lee playing the guitar behind his back, using a chair leg as a slide (while it was attached to the entire chair), while standing on a table, in the audience at Groove's. I like to call it "Demographer's Nightmare". A Korean bluesman/lawyer tearing up a Jimmy Rodger's song in a black club in the south - with a Mexican drummer.

Only in America, baby!
