The owner of Detriot is a trip. He said if I didn't lay on the table the guy would've never threw the beer. That don't make sense because i lay on tables alot... i lay on benches in my neighborhood and nobody throws cups or beers or rocks at me.

The food is horrible, the athletes sneak in through the kitchen (directly to a private room), and the drinks all contain some combination of Hennessey and Grenadine. Gah. (Though to their credit, they occasionally book Rick Lee's blues band. He's like a Korean Jimi Hendrix.)

Somewhere on my cell phone, I've got a pic of Rick Lee playing the guitar behind his back, using a chair leg as a slide (while it was attached to the entire chair), while standing on a table, in the audience at Groove's. I like to call it "Demographer's Nightmare". A Korean bluesman/lawyer tearing up a Jimmy Rodger's song in a black club in the south - with a Mexican drummer.
