Pshh...a couple more run ins with the law and he should be ready to have another career year. Last summer > this summer so far in regards to alleged Rafer criminal offenses. That seemed to work out for him somehow...got him focused or something. Come on Rafer, step your game up. Pull out a firearm or sideswipe somebody in a nightclub parking lot with your car for goodness sakes.

You mean like last summer when people wanted to trade him for Michael Doleac because he was considered expendable after the additions of that chucker Mike James and Steve Francis?

Trivia question. What does Rafer and United States golden boy olymic swimmer Michael Phelps have in common?

You mean like all the criminal acts he was found completely innocent of last summer because of a little stupid thing like "the evidence all points to it being pretty much completely the other guy's fault and/or made-up"?

Come on, Iggy. Get real. DUI is a fairly stupid "criminal" offense. "You did something that increased your probability of doing something bad! SEVERE PENALTIES! CRIMINAL!!"
I'm sure you have at least 5 friends who have driven at least once while capable of getting a DUI. Are you dropping them out of your phone with like aplomb?

(There are two sides, obviously, as it's an intended deterrent. I just think being convicted of a crime without having actually done anything is a bit stupid and that alternately it should be stiffer penalties for actually managing to harm someone else while committing a blatantly stupid and selfish act, though the thought of having people dumb enough to do this regularly off the road is a nice one, but is typically followed by the realization of "Ah, now their lives are pretty well ruined for 5+ years over not actually having done anything. Excellent!". DUI is basically exchanging a possible ruination of someone's life for a definitive one, and I think it's better to put the damages on the backside rather than try to frontload them. The reason it's not done that way is, of course, $.

Then again, I'm no lawyer or public statistician and maybe it is functionally better this way, I just don't like the other potential "societal benefit" doors it opens. The government best suited to deliver optimized capitalism is a fascist one that employs heavy propaganda [see: current], but I prefer freedom, thanks. In reality it doesn't matter a damn what I or any other voter thinks is best because the dollars determine everything, just pointing out to not buy the hype.)

If I were a prepubescent girl, I'd totally ask you to be my bff. Then we'd exchange friendship bracelets on the way to the Hannah Montana concert and talk about how hot so and so from science class is.

Are you using derision to refer to the youthfully idealistic naivete` I'd like to follow instead of caving to the system and deftly manipulating it for great personal benefit, agreeing with me, or saying that I'd look cute with pony tails in a polkadotted yellow summer frock? I'm lost...

I'm agreeing with you (the beer), and also making fun of today's youth.

Dude, you're never going to get Chad to notice you if you keep wearing that polkadotted dress.

Gotta love fans that just defend criminals. If this was average joe down the street you would be all over him. Stop with the double standards for athletes.

'Fraid not Iggy. I've said that same thing both for friends of mine and people I know that I don't like. It's a legal philosophy thing. The person involved has nothing to do with my opinion on it, as all people are [allegedly hahahaha] equal under the law.

I'd like to ask though, can you definitively say that your hatred of Rafer's shooting inefficiency and "stupid decision making" isn't driving your negative bias on his actions? I can only see either that, or you wanting to troll me for some reason, as your motivation for making such a pair of one-sided and seeming poorly-evaluated statements.

For starters, you've never once in over an entire year explained how he's a criminal just because he was accused of a crime. Let's put this into perspective. *ahem*

[Legal Disclaimer: This accusation is for demonstration purposes only. Had this been an actual accusation, the proper authorities would already have been notified and be pummelling you mercilessly about the head and shoulders.]

You stole my car you criminal. Don't try and claim that you didn't, the only reason you think you can get away with it is because of the ridiculous double standards given to message board posters under the guise of anonymity. Just because you don't know who I am and I just got out of my car 3 minutes ago and am looking at it right now doesn't mean you didn't steal it. I'm sick of people like you getting away with things like this just because you're "message board posters." You're no different than the rest of us regular, decent, hardworking average Joes, so why should the fact that you're anonymous matter? GUILTY AS CHARGED! Next.
