Read in another Topic (The Roster) that the Rockets where showing some intrest in him. So I looked up some film on him. http://www.truveo.com/piti-hurtado-pabl ... /583748656

He seems to have a good 3 pt shot and he is decent passer plus at 6'4 or 6'3 he has good size.

He is an streaky shooter. Prigioni is well known in europe thanks to the Scola conection (pick and roll) when they were both in Tau Ceramica (spain). He is a pure point guard, with one of the best B IQ i've ever seen, and very good defender (like Alston, in steals), but he lacks on size and strenght. Anyway If we could bring him to Houston to play 15-20 min with Scola, 30 points of the duo are assured

Wadero,
The Rockets were not able to negotiate a buy-out for this season. But I wouldn't be too suprised if they try to bring him over next yr as a back-up.

I really like him, I think he could be a good back up for Rafer .

Interesting. When I first saw the Spanish article, then the US one I thought the Rockets were really reaching, maybe doing a little favor to Scola. But if two fans based in Europe really like him(Hello to nbaolajuwon34 and Julio),looks like Morey has again proven to be a wise GM w/the hiring of the new International Scout.

In what way? Because he's lackluster as an NBA starter. A field goal percentage of less than 39% is not really acceptable unless the guy has other exceptional skills (like Jason Kidd or Bob Cousy).

Yet another Rafer-hater. Stop the hate, congratulate.

Well, maybe there's nothing wrong with Rafer , but still, one could wish for a better back-up than Brooks, still very young and raw. I like using Barry as a back up pg, but Prigioni could be a good idea, even for next year .
