I knew we should have kept DJ Strawberry. DAMN, DAMN, DAMN...

Rockets second-year point guard Aaron Brooks, considered one of the most important bright spots of the Rockets preseason, was ruled out for 1 to 3 weeks because of a bone bruise in his right ankle.
Brooks left Sunday's practice early, and an MRI on Monday determined the extent of the injury.
Brooks averaged 14.4 points and 4.1 assists in seven preseason games.

2)Tracy McGrady/ B. Barry/ V. Wafer

Really bad news , Brooks was really coming along and this will surely hurt his confidence.
Head will be the backup pg , he will be on the floor with T-Mac or Barry to help with the pg duties.

I hope people won't freak out if we start the season a little slow , we are a work in progress.
Missing our backup pg and also Battier who is our best bench player , Mcgrady still not fully ready.
Hopefully with all these injuries to the role players at least the big 4 will stay healthy this year , I included Rafer because without him we are screwed.

Head should be ok as long as he makes his shots. He doesn't have to do anything more than make shots. McGrady, Barry, Alston can bring the ball up the court if Head struggled in that aspect.

Well if he doesnt make his shots, then he is completely useless. :(

Seriously, you know it's not an offical start to the Rocket's season without some injury. Now we get to see more Head at the point...

Get ready? Man, we're already reading some of these sentiments in other posts.

Wow... Brooks is out already ?!?!? DAMN !!! Ehhh... we should be okay with Barry at the backup PG spot. Remember one of the reasons we brought him in the first place was to get spot minutes there so Luther Head wouldnt have to!!

I know Francis isnt going to play till what... December??

Any news on if Battier is going to play?? If not.. then how long is he suppose to be out??

I highly doubt McGrady sits out.

Run Barry as the backup PG and Wafer as the backup SG. That'll give us size and shooting. I'm sure Adelman will go with Luther though because he's most familiar with the offense.
