Why can't they just be friends? My panda is clearly not very bright and just wants to jump around..

I'd like to say something positive, but it's too hard, on the road against a good team that's playing well, and to top it all of on national tv, ESPN.

What I'd like to see.....
1.) Rebound the damn ball
2.) Execute offensively
3.) Hustle, play defense
4.) ENERGY
5.) Mac and Yao to suck it up

What will likely happen.....
1.) Shaq dominates Yao like the last meeting, but worse this time.
2.) T-Mac looks disinterested and proceeds to shoot 2-86 shooting
3.) Amare murders our frontcourt
4.) Nash who's never fared that well against us, torches us
5.) We show false hope that we're in the game, only for Phoenix to pull away in the 4th

Yeah...I hope I'm wrong, 4-4 really would look pretty bad.

I expect T-Mac to bounce back , his last 3 games whenre probably his worst 2 game stretch since joining the Rockets.

I want Artest to go more inside.

Run the pick n roll with Yao to death because Shaq can't guard it.

Play defense , both halfcourt and transition.

I hope Barry will bounce back because he was horrible last game and I hope Brooks will keep it up.

Lets go , if we can win this game it will give us a nice push going forward.

McGrady has to show not only to us, but to himself that hes ready to play. If not, I think he needs either some time off, or I have no idea whats going. Our bench has been a spark, but when Yao goes down expect the Big Aristotle and Amare to go off on our bench. Shaq is looking very good this season, and hes starting to really fit to this offense, watch out for him; make sure he doesn't go off for 20/10, which hes definitely capable of doing.

I want to be optimistic, but I'm predicting a loss here, if Yao plays like he has then Shaq and Amare are going to have a HUGE game. It all comes down to our big 3, if they are playing well then its a win; but if not...don't expect much. And after this game, if Shaq and Amare did go off against our bench, I think its time for a bigger body; possibly Dorsey.

I dont see how we can match up with the Suns backcourt. And Tracy will have to step up his game as soon as possible or we could be in trouble. Lets go Rockets!

ok i look into my mystical crystal ball and see:

- Amare will have problems scoring against Scola and not able to stop Scola from scoring
- Yao will recover his form. But so is Shaq and the duel between the 2 become the key contest of ballgame
- Nash will torch Aston forcing Rick to release Brooks whom will end up with a career high in points scored
- Tmac will continue to be the facilator as Brooks take on the scoring role
- Artest will provide the covers against the perimeter threats from the suns
- A victory for the rockets

yeah some wild crazy predictions... probably not going to happen.. but that's what the mystical crystal ball showed me :)

I'm going to join in the fun, since we're all predicting something.

My ridiculous guesses should fit right in with the general theme of things.

1. Rockets win...
2. thanks to their bench...
3. led by Von Wafer...
4. who really gets playing time this time...
5. because Adelman realizes that he's got to do something different.
6. Wafer has a career high 40 points.
7. He also blocks Amare twice...
8. and Yao once just to show he can.

Let's see which ones come true!

No need for the gloom and doom. As much as the Rockets have disappointed the Suns haven't been impressive either. Most of the guys they have is still trying to figure out how to play a half court offense, and their defense hasn't improved from the post-Marion days. This could be ugly for the Rockets if Amare goes off, if he doesn't, then the Rockets have a better chance at winning.

Lets make Steve Nash a scorer not a disher. We do that and play nice offensively we win.

But, I can't see how we stop Shaq and Amare... at all

Artest on Amare? Then that leaves scola to guard barnes.
Rick has to do something to this line up. We cant go in like this, what about

Yao
Artest
McGrady
Wafer
Rafer
I know wont happen, but I think that lineup could do something..

Play Brooks 30+ min, Nash can't keep up with him
Stick Artest on Amare. (This is where Battier at SF and Artest at PF would come in handy..)
Yao needs to hit some shots.

Not sure what to expect tonight from the Rockets. But I do know...Shaq and Lopez are gonna bother Yao both offensively (Shaq) and defensively (Lopez). And Amare will absolutely destroy whoever is guarding him at that PF spot.

Needless to say McGrady has to step up tonight. Artest has to take better shots. And we probably should begin the process of scrapping this offense that just doesn't fit this personnel. I doubt the lather happens so I expect for us to struggle to score for the majority of this game.

All in all this is a game we can win but this team just hasn't looked good save for that one hot game in Dallas. But we can salvage the road trip with wins against PHX and SA...and go home hot for the Hornets.
