should be a W, just keep double team Duncan and force others to shoot the jumpers, we should be fine. I don't think Rafer will play this game due to the suspension, it's time to test out Arron Brooks.

Always tough to play the Spurs regardless of who is there. If we give the same effort we gave on the boards in the PHX game we should win.
Suspensions will also play a role in this. Who is gonna get suspended? Just Rafer? Rafer and McGrady?

if anyone just rafer. you dont get ejected for receiving a technical in a game. the league is still loking at it so it might take another day or two but i wouldnt be surprised to see rafer and barnes suspended for 2 games.

There's no way tmac gets suspended..If he did, Shaq should get suspended too. If anyone it would be Barnes and Rafer only.

I don't think McGrady should be suspended. He was trying hold Nash off after seeing Nash charge towards Rafer. Imo if anyone's suspended it'll be Barnes and Rafer.

Well not to look forward or anything but if Alston is suspended for 2 games then Paul is gonna kill us worst than he usually does. That being said...Paul will have to guard Brooks.

On paper we are deeper than New Orleans. We should win it, regardless if Rafer plays or not. If we actually make shots and play good D.

Why do you think Zo wanted to leave New Jersey?

We should win this game. The only person we should actually be worried about is Duncan. Everyone else should be dominated. I expect T-Mac to dominate George Hill.

I don't think we can even game without Rafer. Phoenix is somewhat of a piss poor team anyway you look at it.. But Popavich can motivate scrub to play well and Brooks can't run the point. We might lose this one and tomorrow without Rafer.

I'd like to see Tracy and Yao carry their momentum from the last game into this one...they both could do with having some impressive performances two games in a row to get going!! And if Ron decides he wants to hit a couple jays too thats always a bonus!!

We should keep our eye on that Tim Duncan too in case he decides to go nuts and score 50

GO ROCKETS!!!

You can't be serious. Maybe last year when we had no back up. Rafer Alston is only good for this team when nobody is behind him. Brooks is more than capable. Now against the Hornets you may have a point b/c Alston does slow Paul down enough (or at least enough for us to beat em twice last year).
And yea its gonna be a tough game. Its the Spurs in SA. Regardless of who they have it'll be tough. But we really shouldn't lose. Just gotta bring the sense of urgency we brought against PHX.

If we lose to a Tony/Manu-less Spurs team who are playing pretty terrible(defensively especially) I will probably be out of a television for a few weeks until I find a replacement, unless I can manage to focus my disappointment and rage on some other inanimate object of less value...
...but then again I'll probably be more ashamed and saddened than filled with rage so we'll just see how that plays out when the time comes.
Solution: Just win.

Did you not see how hesitant Brooks was to pass? He was not running the team at all yesterday but shooting it up, easily those shots might not have gone in and he would have looked stupid. He's not a point and Tmac or Barry will have to run the point tomorrow. Brooks barely knows what he's doing and most of it was lucky bs. You know better than that.

Um...is it official that Rafer is suspended for tomorrow? I did not know this.
