Morey said that he most likely won't be a contributor to this team this year, so barring injuries to other team members we most likely won't see him on the floor. But that means we will see him on the floor, because he said barring no injuries to other team members, so all in all whenever Yao goes down (I'm still waiting for the shocker like last year, except this time I won't be so shocked) look out for Dorsey.

I really don't know why people want him on the floor so bad. He looked horrible in the pre-season.

Two reasons:

1. We like to see him hit people. It's fun.

2. He gets the most entertaining technical fouls in the history of basketball.

Pretty simple stuff, actually.

Why no Dorsey?

Scola and Landry play better offense. Hayes plays better defense.
Those three guys are familiar with what Adelman wants.

Dorsey isn't there yet.

Everything I just said is pure speculation. No one, besides Adelman and his staff, really knows why Dorsey didn't play.
