how is that hilarious? our president goes to another country and has a shoe thrown at him. they should have taken that guy out back and beat the sh*t outta him. i guarantee you, if some leader from somewhere else came here and an American pulled that, would it be funny? that guy would have been in serious trouble. you may or may not like gwb, but he's still the leader of America so he should be treated with respect.

Its funny, get over it. If you couldn't get a laugh out of that, I have sympathy for you.
Laughing at that clip has nothing to do with if we like or dislike Bush but everything to do with some Iraqi mad man tossing his LA Gear sneaks (size 10) at a man on film. I happen to like my father quite a bit but if he was the one bobbing and weaving shoe-torpedos, I would be laughing my ass off still.
No matter how much one would like to jock ride whoever the president is at one time, that man is still human, so don't try to glorify him like some kind of saint or prophet who should have no discomforts, he is not righteous and if someone throws their dirty feet wraps at him it is just plain funny.

Great way to get in Abu Ghraib. Imo it would have been better to throw a wine-soaked towel, but there are some early leaks out stating that he had an endorsement contract with Converse.

I'd also like to know why I should respect a man who puts his pants on two legs at a time before realizing there's a divider in the middle - every single day.
