Antoine Walker is a free agent. Do you folks want him?

Antoine Walker can pass, rebound, score. He does lots of things offensively. And oh, he is a deadly 3point shooter. His presence can really stretch the floor.
At 6'8" he can play PF and/or SF. Do you folks want to replace Chuck Hayes with him? It can help taking some of the doubleteams off Tmac/Yao.

Chuck played some good minutes yesterday against Jefferson/Smith. I'd rather keep Hayes for games like those, Antonie could bring some spacing, but I think he just wants playing time; which we aren't going to give.

^^^ yea, some "solid" minute it was in the 4th quarter against Al Jefferson who scored something like 7 straight baskets on Chuck Hayes.

Congrats, you've yet again topped your previous bad idea.
Answer me this. If we can't sign Mutombo, WHY would we want to sign this mess of a tumor?

well its kinda like this. i HATE antoine walker, he is terrible. If i was a fan of any other team i would say hell no to walker. BUT, this is the rockets. and we are stuck with complete rejects like luther head and chuck hayes. id love to find a way to replace hayes with mutombo, and head with antoine walker. it would be a very good lineup
alston/brooks/francis
t-mac/barry
artest/battier
scola/landry/walker
yao/mutombo

No thanks, he plays zero defense, can't shoot, and the definition of a chucker.

Plays no defense , is inefficient and has a big ego.
Also Walker is not a deadly 3 point shooter , he only shoots 4 point shots.

reasons for "NO"
1. we can't afford to add another player without dumping some salary first
2. we don't need another PF that can't play C
3. we don't need a shooter who's shooting a low percentage that don't play defense

Not to mention that the first time he does his little shimmy I'd feel compelled to murder him(which, BTW, I think would be completely justified), and there is already enough violence in the world.

Upper echelon teams want no part of Antoine Walker. While we aren't quite there yet, we're aiming for the top, and we'd be smart to not mess around with this guy. Regardless of what I would like to do, there's no chance that Morey pursues Toine.
And for the record, I want nothing to do with Antoine Walker.

Neither do the lower echelon teams.

The Thunder are trying to get rid of Joe Smith. Maybe they should sign him.
