“I wanted to go tonight (Monday), but the big man (Rockets athletic trainer Keith Jones) said (Tuesday) was better,” Alston said. “ He just felt one more day of rest would be a good thing for me.”

Over the past four games, the Rockets have shifted their offense into overdrive, scoring 109.5 points a game, while giving up only 96.2. There seems to be a bounce in their step, a nod of recognition in their eyes that this is how it could be and this is how it should be.
So there's no better time than now to try a real test against the MVP-favorite LeBron James and the improved, strutting - especially at home - Cavs.
The Rockets started the season 3-0, but were then taken down at home by the Boston Celtics. A few nights later, they were horsewhipped by the LA Lakers. Cleveland rounds out the trio of elite teams in the league that everyone acknowledges is a cut above. So how sharp, really, are the Rockets?
