Tracy McGrady is holding the Rockets hostage. Is that simple enough?

There’s no easy answer to this problem. You may think there is, but there’s not.

The Rockets already have suggested he take another chunk of time off. He declined, saying he wants to play through the pain in his left knee this time and will take off selected games.

So he’s terrible in a loss at Toronto on Friday and didn’t play Saturday night in Atlanta. Sometimes in, sometimes out.

Good written article if you guys read the whole thing; he explains that this team won't get far enough in the playoffs without McGrady being on the same page. He thinks its not only T-Mac doing the damage, and this team still has its issues (says a small part about Ron-Ron).

It's a tough situation in that locker room. If his team calls him out, McGrady will be upset and things can get much worse. But if you leave him on this path, you gotta start consider how much of his negative influence will affect his teammates, especially Ron Artest.

Straight up he should just sit.. There's no point playing if you can't get **** done. It's good to see he wants to play through it but if its hurting the team someone needs to tell him just to chill and plan his recovery out better, your body cant always do what your mind wants it to.

He is not good enough. Only cellar dwellers would want him and I am sure he doesn't want them.

we wont get jack if we trade him, wait for him to get healthy (if ever) raise the trade value then ship him off, i believe he is expiring so it should be appealing in that sense. What i don't understand is why tmac doesn't see a doctor. If i am sick, i don't diagnose myself..... how does he just diagnose himself? we dont hear anything from keith, no doctors, all we here is that his knee hurts so no back to back games.... if i miss work i better damn well have a doctors note and the same should apply to him. I dont know if he's lost his heart or his knee is really screwed up, so go see a therapist or a physician otherwise its horse crap.

Nobody wants Tracy McGrady right now. He's owed 44 million over the next 2 years so it's not like he's an expiring contract worht taking on. Secondly, who can Houston get for him??? Which team is rebuilding and would want cap space in two seasons and also has something the Rockets are actually interested in???

The way I see it, if you are injured, you sit, if you feel good, you play.

I seem to remember a Charles Barkley Quote, I know this probably isn't verbatim, but I think I'm pretty close.

"90% of the guys playing in this league have some sort of injury. the other 10% are liars."

If this is true, then suck it up Mac. I get the general feeling that H-town will be happy if you show up every night, and play hard. I am not A mac Hater, but I am starting to become indifferent to your effort, (note I did NOT say performance.) If you go out there and Play hard, with heart and intensity, it rubs off on the team. (Come on, no one here will deny that.)

Basically, I think all Rockets fans are sick of first round exits, or not even making the playoffs. We deserve, and are owed better than that!
