Fans at Toyota Center

OK, this thread may seem strange to some but I think we Rocket fans need to send a message to McGrady unless he plays with some heart. Usually at games, McGrady will get the loudest cheer from fans when his name is called although he plays with the least amount of heart. I think that we fans should BOO him when his name his called to display our disapproval and displeasure at his lackluster performances and disinterested play.

Its just going to piss him off more, this could get ugly if fans start getting involved in this.

Yeah, that's gonna just remind him of Orlando. It'd be great.

Do not Boo, in no way shape or form would that make him better. I think our fans should get into the games more. I went to the Texans and Bears game and all those drunk football fans where loud and into the game. It was a joy to watch. Do not boo, but do not cheer so loud. If you boo he will feel more unwanted and possibly demand a trade which will not end well

Hold on a sec...have any of you seen any Rockets home games? The fans could care less when we play great...what in the world will make you think they'll send some sort of message to McGrady. We have quite possibly the worst fans for a playoff team in the NBA.

This is an understatement. Our fans will only cheer if the game is close in the last minute. Other than that they don't care. Most people come to the games just because it is something to do, not because they actually care about the Rockets.

yes i agree that the fans suck, i mean i go to most games and i almost always see fans leaving the game early even if it is a close game. That just pisses me off, if you're going to come to Toyota Center support the team until the end!!!

IMO booing a player before a game starts is just crossing the line. The boos might be warranted at the end of the game after he's had a performance like the one vs the Raptors. But booing him at player introductions is just a bad idea and quite classless.

Besides, Tmac is too sensitive for that. Some players might use the boos as motivation to play better but Tmac would probably just sulk even more and demand a trade afterwards.

While booing him is a brilliant idea, I'm not sure that alone will completely destroy this team to the point you're hoping for. If you really want to see these guys erupt, then we should all throw cups in unison at Ron Artest when he's announced. That should do the trick.

Yeah, T-Mac is too sensitive to react positively to boos.

Our fans will never do that. Our fans at the game are like tissue. They are soft.
