I've heard the reason they don't switch from bowls to playoffs is due to tv contracts and lost revenue from the reduced amount of games. Keep it at bowls and you can involve more people in more "meaningful" games.
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

YEAH BABY!!!! It's been a rough couple years since we won the Rose Bowl, but we're back, and next year it's a national title.

OSU continues to show they can't win the big one.

Yes, in a perfect world there is a playoff, but when conference are getting 8 figures just for having one team in the BCS they're not going to want to change. The amount of money made on these games is huge.

Exactly. You could have a 16 team playoff, but nobody is going to care about the first 3 rounds especially if their team isn't playing. In the current system every team looks like its playing for a title so it draws in way more viewers.

Normally I'd say who cares, a 3 point in is as good as a 30 point win, but sadly it's not true here. We need to annhilate the Buckeyes and pray for a close title game so we could be AP champions, but it's not going to happen now.

So are you going to OU now??? They're not going to be able to deal with that Florida defense.

That Gators defense is too good for the Sooners.

Gators won by 10.

The good news is Tim Tebow is going to cure cancer, AIDS, solve our economic crisis, and bring world peace to all, as well as align the planets so that the solar system may live in harmony forever and ever.

God bless Tim Tebow, the most amazing, extraordinary, fascinating and magnificent human being to ever walk the Earth. He is truly a God amongst mortal men. Long live Tim Tebow. Oh how I wish I could slob his knob, but alas, I am not worthy of such an honor.

^ my impression of the announcers.

Was a great game.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

"If you're fortunate to spend 5 or 20 minutes around Tim Tebow, he'll lay a profound impact in your life." -Thom Brennaman

He's basically the second coming of Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad, Houdini, and Abraham Lincoln all combined together.

p.s.: Tebow is the Anti-McGrady. If you're a victim of Tracy McGrady, Tebow's the solution to all of your problems.
