I was listening to sports radio 610 this morning and the rockets VP of operations was on the radio ...long story made short he said they were working with the NBA to make their alternate third Jersey and it would be ready for next season. Also it would be a dark color with highlighted colors in it , But when the radio host asked him about the common photoshoped Jersey thats black with red letters he said "its not black and thats the only hint im giving so blog away"

Man its about time we have to be the last team in the league that dosent have a third jersey i wish it was coming out this year but i guess i'll have to be patient

i hope its deep steel blue like the Texans jerseys ...but as long as it looks good and isnt ugly like the mavs sean john jerseys we'll be alright

sounds like bad marketing to me. most posts i have seen, have indicated that Black would be preferable. Might as well be pastel pink!!!!

Both Portland and SanAntonio have black Jerseys and are in our division so im not suprised they decided not to go with black ...Who am i kidding whatever color they come out with (except for pink lol) im gonna buy anyway

Hope they start rocking the throwback 'red bumblebee' unis. But at least they won't be as bad as that Laker one game abomination with the short shorts. (Though it was hilarious watching Lamar Odom trying to pull his down.)

Celtics got a green jersey their 3rd one is green as well

I'm thinking they'll be pretty damn different like the Mavs alternates and they won't be just a recolor. There's no green on the current Mavs logo but their Alts were green which was also an old team color so I hope it's gonna be like a red/gold jersey. Atlanta stopped red/gold so it looks like the Rockets will be the only team with those colors.
